this particular image brings up all sorts of crap for me.
Back when the Xbox 360 was the new kid on the block a guy at a flea market literally ripped one of these right out of my hands.a vendor had a Neo Geo system. The big coffee table 1 and a huge box of games for like $40 guy practically pushed me on the floor pulling it out of my hands and didn't give a damn.he said something about I hadn't paid for it, so I had no claim to it.my actual real pass off is he had no idea what the machine was and stated this would shut his kids up. They'd been wanting one of those Xbox gaming doodads or some statement like that the fact his kids probably didn't understand what it was and it more than likely end up in the garbage or in somebody's attic or secondhand store still gets under my skin. TurboGrafx 16 is still special to me along with the other NEC videogame family.i have sold some of the more expensive stuff but still have the consoles even have the Japanese one that I ended up with ridiculously cheap. i at some point plan to get a unit that is a physical system that plays emulators so i can put it in a arcade cabinet and basically load it up with the library of Neo Geo TurboGrafx 16 and arcade games that were never released for consoles.i have the arcade .have too pout a monitor in it and get the system.ill at this point never have a original Neo Geo they're just too damn valuable to hang onto if I did get one. Ironically, the TurboGrafx 16 stuff I've got is worth between 1500 or more but not willing to part with it.ive never actually owned a Neo Geo personally, I still never the big coffee table system they were extremely rare around here guy that was a TurboGrafx 16 dealer had one. I think he only ever had to games. Games were over $100 each and it never really took off, you had to special order it around here and there was absolutely no attempt to our get it around these parts. I'm betting a lot of people don't realize the size of the unit. In this picture is pretty accurate scale. They were the biggest console. I think I've ever seen and the cartridges were massive

at some point. My plan is to have the entire library on a him you later set up. I'm completely honest with the fact I don't know why my hardware. Even still works and there's a lot of games out there that are legally out of reach. Even if I did have them, it wouldn't be financially responsible to keep them. Bad enough. I've got a few video games that are worth several hundred that I've never sold for some newer consoles. As an example I got a really rare PlayStation two game the other day for a dollar that goes for about 50 or 75. Literally had a unused brand-new copy of snatcher for the Sega Saturn sold that on eBay. Couple years ago and paid some bills. TurboGrafx 16 was always special to me. There is a homebrew version of ys 4 , that runs on original hardware, but unfortunately haven't been able to get my hands on a copy. I've got the super Nintendo version but apparently the TurboGrafx 16 version is voice translated in English as well as English text which is why I'd like to get my hands on it. I find the games that were released for super Nintendo were pretty Borchard to run on it versus running on the tour graphics 16.
