Stegron: The Dinosaur-Man, in a thoroughly unconvincing disguise (used in Spider-Man & the X-Man Issue 1) comprising of precisely one Purple Trench Coat and matching Hat, that works exactly as he intended. No-one suspects a thing...
Story that goes with this is here
“Where isss it?” The deep rasping voice came from the sole occupant of the run-down apartment who flung the cushions away until he found his wallet. “Finally.”
Dr Vincent Stegron. Once he was a Scientist working for the Organisation known as S.H.I.E.L.D. alongside his one-time associate Dr Curtis Connors, now known as The Lizard. Until he became fascinated with his Bio-Regenerative Serum, originally intended to add Reptilian DNA to another life form to add its properties to the subject, making possible restoration of lost limbs amongst other things.
It worked, to an extent. The unintended consequence of his experimental formula resulting in his becoming a mix of lizard and human, later referring to himself as The Lizard. Did repeated transformations split his personality in two, or perhaps just provide an outlet for repressed aspects of himself? He wasn’t a psychiatrist and such things were beyond him
