Gouache? This is type of paints... I even went to Wikipedia to see if the word was correct.
Wikipedia write "Gouache , body color, or opaque watercolor, is one type of watermedia."
Close to tempera.

Ahh, I did not know this. I'm very unfamiliar with the name. Interesting. I certainly do like what you've done with it though and Thank you for taking the time to further explain it to me. I do have a better understanding now.
