Behold, my character in a campaign of the tabletop roleplaying game called Changeling: The Lost!
Trill was once a normal human with a normal name, but one day he was stolen away to the faerie realms, where dreams and nightmares are reality. There, a terrible fae being with near-godlike powers turned him into a songbird for amusement. Eventually, though, Trill sang a lullaby so beautiful that the fae fell asleep, and Trill flew back to the mortal world.
Some of the changes stuck, leaving him half human and half magical bird - an anthropomorphic nightingale that can sing reality-warping songs! From that point on, he decided to call himself Trill.
The escape was not easy; thorny environmental hazards on the way back to Earth ended up tearing away parts of his wings, and he has yet to journey back to reclaim these now-magical pieces of himself. He feels very incomplete without them.
As you can see, Trill is very fond of wearing feminine clothing and generally acting as effeminately as he likes! Being expressive and creative quite literally saved his life, so now he's more than comfortable being as flamboyant as he darn well pleases. He sings any cheerful tunes that come to mind, to keep himself and those around him optimistic, even after all he's been through.
EDIT: Deepened the lighting and shadows somewhat.
