KieliIndustries and I did a Pokemon Fusion exchange where we basically provided each other random Pokemon and we tried to create a creature that is practically their offspring. He gave me Exploud, Pacharisu, and Herdier, and I created this.

Rather than just the body, I also tried merging their personalities together. I took the herdier's bold confidence, the pacharisu's mischievous trouble-making, and the exploud's blatant disregard for everyone around him, and the result was something along the lines of a buff, dastardly sort of con artist Pokemon.

There was some sugar involved in the thought process.
