Maybe you should look at the rest of my gallery before you spout off about originality. One project for fun and non-profit, giving credit but still having enough effort to recreate on my own (all the shrimp was done by me, the bowl was my design) is NOT what my entire art pathway relies on. I made this for a friend, FYI, who wanted this scene.

Almost every child begins learning by mimicry, even adults must learn in this way. Looking at tutorials, drawing what you see, and paying close attention to details often need to be mimiced at first before one can break off on their own and create things by themselves.

I'm not seeing anyone else taking these specific clips, I go and make the clips from the show rather than getting it from something else and I create it frame by frame.
I don't think many people would find it easy to make a disney character look like a pokemon.
But if you want to talk about originality, please, go bother all those people who draw in the same exact sonic style, or the people who do nothing but Lion King style artwork.
I've branched enough to have my own style, at a first glance people would say "Oh, it's just another anime artist" but people who know my art recognize who drew it right away.
Yeah, tracing isn't the most original of things to do, but don't assume by one image that it's all I do, because I HARDLY EVER do it.
