“Do you know why flowers are beautiful? Because you pluck them before they wither…”
"So peaceful..." she closed her eyes as she took in the heavenly scent of the flowers around her.
No noise, no people, no phone calls, texting, or social media disturbing her.
...just an open field of flowers, their petals stirring in the morning breeze. It was the perfect day. The only thing missing was a nice picnic. Tomorrow she would definitely have to make a nice picnic lunch and go fishing by the lake-
Weary from work, and just needing some time to unwind from dealing with people, Amelia decided to escape for the weekend with a nice trip to Hokkaido. Whisper had told her about the various flower fields around the area and thought it would be a calming venue for Amelia to hide away for the a few days.
Plus, no one knew her there so maybe she could get some rest without worrying attracting unwanted attention...
Picking an assortment of flowers, Amelia gathered them up to take back to the inn with her...her ears happily twitching as she did so~
Well at least my two girls are getting a break from work. I am still over here suffering, haha.
Amelia decided she needed a little break from...everything! But then everyone needs a break sometime, right? Amelia's happy place just happens to involve getting lost in a sea of flowers
On a sidenote, I have so much art of Amelia I need to post, so those of you that like her, get ready! She will be making a comeback, soon-
In the meantime, enjoy the silence...and the roses~

On a sidenote, I did not know she was good at drawing furries AND human characters! Needless to say, I will definitely be commissioning her to draw Amelia again- she looks adorable in her style. Thank you SO much again Talilly! She is such a wonderful artist to work with-

It's a beautiful lyric! To me (a novice granted) it comes off as very Heian, contemplating the passing of life and beauty was all the jam for those guys. Donno if that was intended but very fitting the Japanese influences ^_^
She's really cute and this image is as well, she comes off as very soft and delicate by the choice of pose (hand in particular, gorgeously made!) and expression, quite a difference with Black Magic Woman haha! It feels so light and gentle! The framing of the fore- and background makes it feel almost like a post-card of sorts and the subtle hue-shifts is really nice to see. I tend to see very flat-coloured characters (mayhaps cuz of furry-ness idk haha) so it's cool to see some non-ubiquitous colours used for skin tones.

I actually try to get more softer, calmer art of Amelia compared to Whisper since she is more based on myself (that and for me, such a scenery would be an ideal way to unwind).
