So how did my 2009 look artwise?
See for yourself.
And this is the last thing I'll be posting for the decade as I mark not only the end of it and the end of the year but my fourth year on this version of FA. Not a bad run so far. Here's hoping the next 365 days will be better than the last set.

I knew someone would figure it out eventually. Not that many people around here really know about Science Ninja Team Gatchaman. I should color this eventually. I'll bet you could figure out which memeber of the team it'd be too, though it shouldn't be too hard to guess if you've seen the show. I've also been thinking about drawing Todd wearing a Galactor symbol shirt for the heck of it.
You're talking about the original outfits, right? Not the updated ones from the updated OVA's? If so, then that means bellbottoms. You can't forget those, especially on the Galactor cannon fodder. And then there's Katse's outfit. Or some of his commanders. Someone really ought to have checked out the Galactor fashion designer/coordinator. I'll bet they were more than marginally insane.
Exactly... One day I'll get them all made...

So you have volumes 1 & 2 and the first extras disc?
And yes, Sandy Frank really did a number on the original though I'm guessing they had to to get the series aired here. Turner Broadcasting managed a slightly closer version with G-Force but wrecked the music and some other aspects that ADV thankfully fixed with their superior work.

If you think the first set is something, wait until you see the later episodes and what Edwin Neal does with Katse's performance. The one called Murder Music is a riot. And to hear him start to crack with the stress that Leader X is putting him under for not killing Gatchaman and conquering the earth, it's fun to watch he and several of the team members especially Joe evolve through the series.
