Named after the protagonist in Elite Force and Pavel Checkov from TOS. He is a floater on the Raptor, he can pretty much do any job and fly the ship too if needed. He first appeared in the "Naked Eternity". He considers himself career crewmen because he likes doing the dirty jobs, that and it give him access to phaser weapons at all times. He is also Altarian.
