Ever since last Halloween, Marshall has been telling everybody about his new friend that he and his mother, Laura, met on that fateful night. Her name is Mz. Curl and she has a friendly pet rat named Rattle. And despite on what you believe Marshall or not, Mz. Curl is a real witch.

Several months later, Mz. Curl has invited Laura to her place for a tea party. And even though she had second thoughts about going there, Marshall convinced her to give Mz. Curl a try because he believes that Mz. Curl is a wonderful weasel, despite being on the tricky side.

Believing that Marshall's right, Laura decided to go after all. The invitation stated to wear a costume, so Laura dressed up as Sally Acorn from "Sonic Universe". And after dropping off Marshall at the "Sleepy Bubble Nursery" where he goes every summer, Laura headed down the trail that led to Mz. Curl's place.

Once she arrived, Mz. Curl has a tray full of treats all set for the party. Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Muffins and a beverage known as Dark and Dirty (a mixture of ginger ale, milk and cocoa powder). As Laura sat down with Mz. Curl, the two had a friendly conversation as they ate the treats.

However, Mz. Curl, being the playful trickster that she is, couldn't resist in using her purple magic during their conversation. Laura was talking to Mz. Curl when all of a sudden, *POOF!!* She discovered taped around her waist was a large thick DIAPER!

Laura tried to stand up and walk around, but every time she took a step, the diaper got thicker and thicker until she couldn't move anymore. Laura was shocked about the extremely crinkly diaper taped around her waist that just getting bigger and bigger.

Laura: "Eek!! A diaper?!!? But I'm too old for diapers!! And how do you walk in these thick diapers anyway???"

As if having problems walking around in a thick diaper was bad enough, Mz. Curl's pet rat Rattle has clung onto Laura's boot, hoping that Laura would pet him and even play with him. But having a rat on her boot didn't seem to help Laura's situation as she went into a frenzy!

Mz. Curl who was humored by all of what was going on, decided to calm down Laura.

Mz. Curl: "Do not panic Mrs. Foxstone, Rattle will not hurt you. He just wants to play with you. As for your thick diaper, I suggest that you calm down and have a seat. I guarantee that if you settle down and chat with me, your diaper will shrink away."

Laura then sat down and took a few deep breaths as she calmed down. As Laura sat, she bend down and gently petted Rattle. Rattle gave out a few friendly squeaks, let go of Laura's boot and scampered off.

Laura: "Well, at least Rattle's a friendly little rat."

Ms. Curl: "Yes, he's a sweet obedient rat. You shouldn't be afraid of him." Mz. Curl then gave Rattle a piece of cheese in which Rattle took the cheese and headed for his cage.

Mz. Curl: "There, Rattle won't be bothering us anymore. He just wants a snack."

The two continued to chat, and as promised, the diaper around Laura's waist started to get smaller and smaller until once the party was over, her diaper had completely disappeared in a puff of smoke, and was back in her shorts which gave Laura a big sigh of relief.

As she was leaving, Mz. Curl gave Laura a bag of extra muffins for her and Marshall to share. As Laura left, she has learned a valuable lesson: When invited to a witch's house for tea and snacks, always expect the unexpected.
