After downloading the assets you'd need to upload it trough unity using VRChat's SDK.
The prerequisite for downloading avatars is that you've played the game enough to be promoted from a guest user. (New user or above)
Youtube has a lot of tutorials available on the process, but I recommend getting some help if you know anyone familiar with unity.

The model started showing its age, so it was pulled from the store in favor of keeping the newer version updated.
