So not only is Art Fight this month(WOO!), I have discovered a new art prompt on twitter; Julycanthropy!
AKA and ENTIRE month dedicated to werewolves :D So I'm gonna try to do that as well~ As always, I'm gonna TRY to make them all the same quality :'D

Anyway

As I said, this theme actually has significance, both lore-wise and story-wise:

Lore-wise - In my own little thing, the moon DOES have an effect on the wolves, but it only affects the strength of the wolf both in human and lycan form, with the Full Moon being the Strongest and the New Moon being the weakest. It's a mutual understanding that all wolves, Born or Turned, know and respect(usually).

Story-wise - Elias was born directly on the New Moon with nothing but the stars to his name. Meaning Mica was at her weakest state even in human form(which she switched to about a month and half into the pregnancy to finish it out), and Elias was INCREDIBLY weak for a newborn. Yes, there were complications, but obviously both of them made it out ok.
Anyway.
Well, it was soon noticed by Aria that some important things happened on the New Moon specifically; his first transformation, meeting Talon, first kill. Pretty much anything that impacted his life happened on a New Moon. But it's the fact that he was born on one that caught the attention of both parents, and Mica partially blames that on how sickly he was. Once Aria realized, she had jokingly called him their 'New Moon Baby', and she seems to think that somehow, the weakest point of the wolves will be the strongest point for him.

Years pass, and Mica is starting to believe it, too.
Her New Moon Baby is proving that the Full means nothing to him, and she's not sure if she should be proud,

Or scared.

((NO he's not gonna be an antagonist!! He's just... different. :'D I can't really explain ton well at the moment. I have to figure more stuff out.))
