Some of my y'all might remember me posting stuff about moving out earlier this year but that ended up not working out due to immigration issues and also pressure from my family. They're a big source of stress and can be abusive, and while I live alone the constant interactions I have with them put a really huge strain on me that I just can't handle.
Now I'm trying again, I've been saving up since around April but it hasn't been enough for me to both pay for my expenses and save up to viably move in a reasonable time, and it's affecting my health. Unfortunately I can't rely on my family for any support.
So why am I trying to move?
Besides family issues mentioned above, my country is rapidly going to shit, there's no artistic work, and workers rights are being removed. It's violently anti-LGBT and I'm afraid as a GNC/pan person.
I've always tried to look after myself but it seems impossible to do all of this on my own. So if you like my art please consider leaving a tip, any amount helps and I would really appreciate it.

to be honest, i think moving out like this might not be very wise of a thing to do.
the whole no art jobs in brazil isn't necessarily true, it's just tough to manage to find them, specially since the whole formation pre-requisites can be a pain in the ass.
the whole anti-lgbt thing is complicated. as a member of the lgbt myself i disagree tbh, i don't think there is any reason to get worried about violence against yourself that comes from reasonable people, i'd worry more about radical religious people as they are always the source of violence against the lgbt in brazil since forever. might be just paranoia our media is propagating to make people go crazy.
i hope you're just planning it well and isn't doing it out of impulsive behavior.

There might be some art jobs out there but the way our culture handles art I don't think it's the best place to pursue it as a career.
I'm sorry but how do you expect everyone to be reasonable with the way things are? People don't have to be religious to be aggressively anti-lgbt. I don't know how informed you are but there are nasty things going on that we don't always readily see.
I do try to plan my trips well, so thanks for the well wishes and we'll see how it goes.

as far as i can tell it's all anecdotal when it comes to personal bad experiences. as far as i'm concerned, everyone i know that isn't a fanatic is okay with lgbt people, even people who are moderately religious. don't really know what sort of environment you live on but hey, if you say it's that way, there isn't much i can say if i'm not used to it. as far as culture goes. pursuing art careers over here might not be optimal, but the more people leave, the worst it's gonna keep getting since no talent is gonna be left to establish the market for it.
and well, i didn't really assume. it's mostly due to the fact you justified the reasons you wanted to move as stress and paranoia inducing phenomena, so, i had my worries if the decision was made in a cohesive state of mind.
i hope you manage to move smoothly to wherever you want to since it's planned.
just keep it in mind that people who hate the lgbt are everywhere and art is gonna be a hard career no matter where as well.
