I meant it more in a way that it's a painfully easy to counter strategy that people are stupid enough to be thwarted by over and over again(the generous hurtbox of the sword helps a lot, too).
As a Pyro, I'll just stand there, let the stupid bastards charge into the flames, puff 'em, make them whiff, and Axtinguish them as they hit the ground again. Fire resistance? What fire resistance? Next time maybe he'll learn to use that nifty little grenade launcher he's got...Or not.

I blast almost out of reflex. Once they are on fire, you don't want them near you any more, so WOOSH! PARP! and then I work out if I want to try to axe them or let them run off and let them buuuuuurn. Just chasing with the flame thrower is suicidal. Just a thought for the BB fans.
The Heavy is actually a really good way to get rid of a targe-clad Demoman. With all that fire and explosion resistance, they seem to forget they can't outsmart boolet...and also happen to run straight into Sasha's optimal range.

Indeed direct hits from the direct hit (duh) (wich is my current gun), own heavies, being easy to calculate their routes with your rocket, and they cant dodge much.
But when I meant that I heavies are in danger against demomen, I mean when the demomen arent simply some "charge and pray they hit" kind of ppl, I mean the ones that come around corners, and that usually come in groups of more ppl, as the heavy tries to get rid of one or two, the other(s) use that to unleash attacks at him, even if the others may not be demomen, a sniper can take out some heavy focused on someone else easily, any class could.
Altough group attacks like those can usually own any class, I think the inability of heavies to run away from combat, makes them pretty vulnerable, and the target of those group attacks usually are the stronger classes, such as heavies.
