"Uncommon Bond" is one of my favorite MLP episodes, i think-- at least one of my favorites that concerns Starlight!

i find it really sad-- Starlight's built up Sunburst to be this incredibly important person in her life, and it's clear that her self-worth is tied to his (and everyone's) approval and acceptance. but most of the episode is just about her making him uncomfortable and him blowing her off. I really wanted to see them become best friends again (or perhaps more?) but they just don't fit together like they used to, and it's overall just kind of a sad portrait of growing away from friends. even if it ends on a positive note, things are different, and will never be how they were when they were younger. sad as hell!

but this is just a tiny doodle of Starlight coming onto Sunburst because flustered blushy sunburst is best sunburst.
