A WIP of page 11 in my comic commission for chestaclan/
unspoken6.
As the title implies, this comic tells the origin story of Diminisher, the villainess from the previous comic. Sent on a quest to discover her powers by her also-super grandmother, Lisa the lioness traveled to a fog-shrouded island where a mysterious gladiatorial arena appeared before her. Here, she fought and defeated an "ancient enemy" of her family - a monstrous giant hyena - using her newfound superpowers. Now, dawn breaks and the arena and the spirits of her ancestors dissolve back into the fog, while Lisa finds a suit of armor and assumes the identity of Diminisher. She's now our villainess in shining armor.
As with last time, I have a question -- in the context of the comic, were the ancestors real? Or is this just how Lisa thinks her ancestors would treat her, based on how her present-day family treats her.
A special thank you to the creator of the characters/story for his patience. Particularly since, in the middle of drawing this comic, my computer went down, resulting in a delay of several months. This still needs to be colored, but we are now finally in the home stretch.
