Erania and Erion belong to a species of alien called Altorians, living on the planet Altor; the twins live in a giant metropolis known as Idela, with Idela Temple serving as the centre of all things.
They are semi-humanoid in appearance, with 3 fingers 1 thumb, cloven-hooved feet, and elongated faces with long ears. To humans, they look similar to an anthropomorphic deer.

Notes:
• Their colours typically encompass blue, teal, purple, pink, red and grey, and their naturally occurring markings have the ability to glow in various colours, typically pink, yellow, purple and light blue. This glow is an optional choice, but many may enable it at night, especially when going out. When they are not glowing, they are either blank, decipherable only by their debossed nature, or black.
• Their spines are also always predominantly exposed, and can vary in appearance greatly; some may even coat them in substances that make them glow to match their markings.
• They are considerably tall, both sexes ranging between 7 and 8 feet tall.
• They have an exceptional lifespan of 500 years; sexual maturity is reached at or after 150years.
• Twins are relatively rare, and families usually range from 5-10 children within the parents' lifespan.

Brief overview on the twins:

Erania is a city guard, usually stationed at or around the Idela Temple, where she is tasked with general peacekeeping as well as greeting visitors. She likes her job well enough, but it's not what she wants to do for her whole life, she's sometimes late from sleeping in, which drives her brother nuts. She's a free spirit that would rather go out at night dancing, or go to the beach or just lounge around her loft in her underwear. A friend drags her to yoga once a week even though she has no interest in it, but does it anyway so her friend won't be alone. She secretly likes delicate lace dresses and owns a couple that she's never worn for fear of someone recognising her. Despite her gentle-if-easily-distracted nature, Erania can put on a tough-girl act on the job when it's needed. She sometimes lets others walk over her though even though she hates it - especially her brother. (Erania is 7'5" tall and is 153yrs old).

Erion is a government official working out of Idela Temple, and is very focused on his work. He is neat and organised, and quite ambitious; the complete opposite of his sister. He embraces facts and has no time for speculations unless it is scientific theories that have sound logical explanations that could, in fact, become viable. He is physically passive when it comes to violence towards himself, but won't hesitate to speak up in a meeting should violence towards the populace be suggested or implied (eg: population control, war). As a workaholic, he doesn't care for going out like his sister, preferring to stay busy with work even in his off time or indulge in some puzzles with a glass of wine if he's all up-to-date on things. He lives in the same complex as his sister, but the two only meet at most a couple of times a week; each time he berates her for not being more focused and thinking of setting up her future. (Erion is 7'9" and is 153yrs old).
