It's an alipapae, a... loyal steed. Some might remember a past scribble of Zanebono riding this creature, although, in said scribble, the alipapae was hiding it's true face. ;)

It is a very shy beast, so the sound of bells or chimes are used to soothe it, thus explaining the bell collar hanging around it's large, scruffy neck. The strange, furry tentacle looking arms surrounding it's face serve the alipapae as a trunk serves an elephant, to an extent. Since it has a flat face and long legs, kneeling down and trying to grab with it's teeth proves difficult. So, it has those furry arms, obviously inspired by octopi. Alipapape see in four different directions because, as I said, it is a shy beast; it doesn't seem to use a certain set of eyes too often.

This creature has a very eerie appearance, but I've somehow learned to love it. Alipapae are gentle, I promise!
