Look who it is!

Sata Kalmar (aka Sata the Kind or Sata the Silver Tongued) is my character in the story Survival: Mouse Anthro. He's a Leona, a race of cat-like people who quite often have varying degrees of god complex, to the expense and repeated mass-death of the mouse anthros known as micen. Leona are expected to hunt and eat micen, and generally flaunt their power over them. Sata just doesn't. He claims to anyone who asks that hunting them is too much effort for not enough gain.

And if you've read the story up to this point, you probably don't buy that excuse.

Truth is, he doesn't like hurting micen in the slightest. He lacks the god complex most Leona have, and sees micen as people. At the very least, he sees them as living things that deserve respect, and have a right to live their lives. He doesn't want to be like other Leona, but he does want them to leave him alone. As a result, he often pretends to have that predatory god complex in order to avoid being pressured into getting one for real.
