Not at AC and the weather is thunderstorms so I did a like wet plating.
Not a great plate but it's been close to two years since I've had a chance to practice.

This turned out really nice! I'm impressed by anyone who has the skill and patience to do wet plate collodion prints.
I've heard that ambient light meters don't work well for estimating the correct exposures and there's some guess work involved to get it right.
Did you mix the chemicals yourself? Are they difficult to obtain nowadays?

The chemistry is not difficult to source. Good alcohol is the hardest to find.
The process is most sensitive to blue light, so a regular light meter wonโt help that much but they can be useful. You usually run a test plate first and then calculate your days exposures from that.

Awesome photo. Turned out really well. Has a nice crisp look.
As to AC, I believe your regular photography nook was closed. The DLLCC was having some leaking roof issues and they were working on repairs. Part of the third floor balconies and all of the rooftop were closed. You could have gone out on the garden deck but not much traffic there. Hopefully it will all be tidied up by next year. :)

Hopefully I will see you there.
You going to FA:U this year? I plan on going. May also wind up at Furrydelphia since it's only about 90 minutes away. Technically it's Valley Forge so it's not really in Philly. It's also in a casino this year. Heh. More ways to go broke!
Oh, next year's theme is Aesop's Fables for AnthroCon. Fur the More 2020 theme is like Space Trek or Space Wars or whatever.
