i've been thinking of werewolves a lot lately for what seems like no reason and so i did some research on them and turns out there's like no consistency in werewolf lore so werewolves can basically be whatever you want
i like the idea of lycanthropy varying in how it effects every individual who has it. some people become straight up regularass wolves, some people become furries basically, some people become super hairy and buff (hubba hubba amirite ladies), and some people just get all kinds of fucked up, the only correlation being they become something kinda-sorta-ever-so-slightly dog/wolf-like. same reasoning behind why we call seahorses seahorses: it looks sorta like what its named after, but its not the same
the white on the leg is meant to be a variation in fur color but it just makes him look like he's got Bone Hand Disease, which is fatal probably
