So as much as I love the gravelbeast, my chalicotherium, there are days where I want to draw something that is more relatable to my own life and lived experience. And thus, I wanted a furry fursona that would be more like my actual self.
Plus I have always hated how sometimes inking an image sucks all the life out of it. The sketch has so much vibrancy and inking just destroys it. I experimentally left the sketch lines in and thus, Sketch was born.
And he is like me in many ways...pre-transition trans male, kind of a skittish thing, and a little bit artistic.
