The world is full of injustices. So many. It's left me quite jaded and cynical.
There is a point in Dogryme's time on Dacutter Island where he's an antagonist but not in his Shadow form. He was undercover in Darg Industries, and his plan is not to disobey any of Darg's Orders in order to get close enough to him and try to prevent a War from happening.
He fights Dacutter to stop him from cooling down the volcano and restoring the Ice Seal. There's a magma generator in the volcano's core that will lose a chunk of power output if he fails, resulting in Darg's Colony of Rats having to work much more conservatively. He doesn't really want to fight Dacutter, but he needs to put on a convincing show nonetheless.
Dacutter's restoring the Ice Seal to prevent the Hell Dragons beneath the volcano from escaping. Though, if Darg has gotten in his way this much, sabotaging him the same way isn't so bad.
Hopefully, Dacutter doesn't get defeated. Or Dogryme takes it as confirmation, that along with Dacutter after a final few fiery magic blasts, Heroism is scattered to the wind as ashes.
