It's been SO LONG since I've made a big fully-colored illustration! I've been extremely busy these past months, so in order to post consistently I had to work more on sketches and smaller illustrations, but I honestly missed working on larger projects.
I've been slowly working on this one for about a month and I have to say I'm very satisfied with the result. There are some mistakes here and there, but I'm still extremely happy happy with it.
This is meant to be a call-back to the first ever drawing of Shadi ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/22942224/ ), which is a very important drawing for me. Not only it was the start of Shadi's adventures, but it also allowed hundreds of new watchers to find my page back then, which was incredibly motivating to say the least. At first I wanted to have Shadi jumping over a wall like in the old version, but it just worked better with her running. Still, it's pretty great to see the progress I made in the past 4 years, and it makes me wonder what the future has in store.
Again, thank you all for your incredible support, especially to those who have followed me since almost the beginning of this artistic journey. I'd have been way less motivated to draw and improve without you! :D
As always, if you have any suggestions and critiques to help me improve, I'd be happy to hear your feedback.

great work, full of life and things and interaction! :D those birds are cute... ^^
Shadi should stand out a mittle bit more, but I'm not sure how to do it with watercolours. with digital, adding a layer of 5% white beneath the figure would be easy. maybe pastels? maybe not white, but more gold. after all it's the hour before sundown, it seems.
also, would the scan show it? probably not.

I must say that when it comes to offering pointers or tips...I got nothing to say Your artwork is very impressive! with all the minor and major details perfectly blending in well with one another, how your able to place a large number of characters togather in one scene and have them all have a unique view or purpose in the scene itself and most of all how well you draw both Human and Anthro faces as well as Ferals. Your work just genuinely impresses me!
