[Animation] Gejhi - Dark Force
Recently finally gave this attack a proper animation. The attack pushes all targets near him into the direction of his facing. Hit stun is long enough for to combo out of if the target hit was behind him.
The blue seen here is just a working color. It's nearly black in-game, with the lighter values being transparent.
I'm planning to release him for play sometime this month... finally. Any updates I may need to make to him will be done later on as I work on other characters, which should come along much faster now that I have the code-skeleton that I'm happy with to build my other characters on to.
EDIT: I should have mentioned that the startup of this attack has invincibility, just before the burst happens. This attack also costs 1 bar (of a 4 bar system) to use.

Gejhi isn't much of a "power" oriented critter though. His style is offense leaning, but he's more about keeping pressure and more speed focused or "rush down."
The bulking thing would be very out of character for him. Plus I'd need to make more animations for that. It'd be better suited for one of my other characters.

Nah, not Jeibu. He certainly is more power focused than Gejhi and is even a thicker boy, but has a more defensive leaning on his take of the base fighting style he learned from Gejhi.
This sort of mechanic might apply to a critter I plan to make a bit later down the line.

Something like that would honestly be MUCH easier because I could design all of the sprites to have a "mask" color that on a palette change, becomes visible.
I'm not totally sure yet, but a mechanic like this, if I were to do it, will be for a character I make a bit later down the line in this generation. I haven't finalized things on the concepts for this character yet, so I've not released anything about him yet.

In my opinion, the leg bulk would be best suited either for ATK boost or DEF boost, plus it gives a intimidation look that can tactically work against the opponent too. Jeibu Maaaaay benefit from it if you choose it to go Defence boost. Jeibu looks like the type who has a ton of Adrenaline. Not to mention dark powers can be empowering in a great way. But that is just a suggestion.
