I do apologize that this is short but I had other duties that made it very hard to make this longer. At least I've got me and Jayjay together in this pic.

Chapter 45: Enemies Arrive
It all started peacefully enough. Cameron had a break off from her training and from school duties. The academy at this time was off like normal, but her training was since Nicholas didn’t want to exhaust her out too much. Plus, it was a good excuse to take a rest. So that meant the Lounge was closed for the day. Everybody who worked there had the day off. Nicholas and Jayjay decided to spend the time with Cameron and the human appreciated that. However, everyone, including Heritage, were on guard just in case. And it wasn’t just them, but many in the city who could fight as well were to. “It’s such a nice day, wouldn’t you agree, Cameron?” Nicholas asked the human.
“Oh! Yes…” she replied, still nervous around beings such as this but slowly getting used to it.
“Well, at least it seems that the citizens here feel the same,” the female werewolf commented, holding her guy’s paw.
Just then a surge of energy, a massive one, was felt, appearing out of nowhere. It was strongest where the three were but everyone else, from Jayjay’s clan sisters, their guys, all who were on guard felt the disturbance. “What in the hell?!” Nicholas growled as he and the two females with him shrank to his side.
Just as soon as it came, it stopped but standing before the three were none other than Mirage, Hesoid, Ebon, and the same vampire queen that had come here before. And this time her pet hell hound was here to. “Shit,” the male werewolf growled.
“It’s you…” Jayjay growled at the enemies.
“Wait… that canine was broken out…?” Cameron asked, referring to Simon.
“My Mistress here got me out while the school was empty!” he boasted. “This time I’ll tear that fucker apart!” He was referring to Fabian.
“Get behind me and Jayjay,” Nicholas whispered to the human who did so.
“She won’t be protected, not this time,” Mirage stated with an evil grin. She then looked to the other vampire. “Right, Venganza?”
“Enough!” the male werewolf snarled. “Why are all of you gathered?!”
“Because she ordered it,” Ebon answered. “Now then… shall we start?”
“She?” Jayjay was able to ask.
The group of enemies each brought out the same kind of medallion Mirage had once used and these flashed with the same kind of light and these came together to form a portal. “No way…” Nicholas said simply and with dread. From these came others, more vampires, demons, and other horrors. There were only about 15 of them. “Shit… if they can get here, the barrier must be broken.”
“It’s our time now!” Simon stated.
“I guess since you’re here, then it means bad news,” went a different male voice. Everyone looked up to see Fabian had arrived and was glaring at his enemy.
“Fabian!” Cameron stated.
“Looks like things have taken a better turn,” Nicholas stated, gathering up power in his palms. Jayjay got a grin on her face, ready to fight. Cameron swallowed her nerves as this seemed to be a big moment. She had no idea, or anyone else. But the first real big fight was here.
