October, 1950. Frostbite was a Ranking Officer in the United States Military. One late afternoon, he was commanded by his Commanding Officer to report to Doctor Henry for mandatory Military Training. Frostbite entered the doctors to find a male fox in a white coat, pants shirt and tie. When Frostbite asked the doctor what kind of training he going to be given, Henry had Frostbite sit in a sofa and strapped his arms and chest down. Henry explained that he put his friend Gregor through the same training method just the other day.

Frostbite wiggled against the tight straps as the doctor came over with a mask that was hooked to a tube. Frostbite paid close attention to the machine that the mask was hooked to. Henry then explained that Frostbite was going to be trained to hold his breath underwater. He then strapped the mask around Frostbites mouth good and tight.

Frostbite became nervous, then looked as Henry stood next to the machine. He told Frostbite to hold his breath and turned the machine on. Frostbite quickly held his breath as he saw water flow from the tube and into the mask. After about thirty seconds, Frostbite began to wiggle and muffle because he needed to breath.

Henry then turned off the machine and allowed Frostbite to catch his breath. Frostbite then took another deep breath and Henry turned the machine on again. Frostbite tried to think about other things to distract him, but after forty seconds, he had trouble holding his breath and began wiggling. Henry repeated the training method for the next two hours. Frostbite knew this training method was going to be difficult for him.
