I start to design him base on a flamingo bird, then I add an axolotl's gills beside his face and at his tail, but I simplified the axolotl gills to looks like simple corals, and make it green because green is better than red. The idea came when I keep turning the pages of an animal encyclopedia book to find creatures to mix together
By the way, when you own him, you can name his species and create his stories as you want !
