Here, have a gecko! Because they're adorable, and it randomly occurred to me that I'd never drawn one. He's kicking back and relaxing with the obligatory tiny-umbrella-drink!
I still can't do furniture or backgrounds to save my life, but I tried! And I'm actually pretty happy with the gecko himself. Trying to get those scattered yellow scales to look right was a huge pain, though. XD
The specific species is a gold dust day gecko, since those are my favourite, and they have appropriately bright and tropical-looking colours.

The background actually looks pretty sweet, the sand and seafoam texturing are great.
Tropical shorts on a gecko are fantastic. I would love to own a pair of those actually.

Yay, thank you! The water was kind of a pain, since I had to use lots of different semi-transparent layers to get bits combining the way they should and things, but oddly fun!
And tropical print things are always so much detail, but they look so cool. XD And consistency with scales is the hardest part, so glad you think I succeeded!
