Our next adventure brought ut to Toruń- one of the oldest cities in Poland, with the first settlement dated back to the 8th century and later having been expanded in 1233 by the Teutonic Knights. Over centuries, it was the home for people of diverse backgrounds and religions.
Toruń is also the city of Nicolaus Copernicus- a Renaissance-era mathematician and astronomer, who formulated a model of the universe that placed the Sun rather than the Earth at the center of the universe. We couldn't resist visiting his house of course <3
