ha yes the Faerals, A pain in the ass for a scribe like me to take everything about them and rename it. Confused? Well allow me to explain.


These Avian species were once called Maestrals, they are known for their colorful feathers and great creative mind . Then One day the cancerous species who stole their names , the new Maestrals kicked them all off the western territory because they were not willing to participate in their war against the East.


They had to Find new homes, new identity and desperately cling to their traditions as Urban life tends to taint innocence out of everything. The Faerals are one of the few race who are mainly pacifist, they prefer a life of craftsmanship such as puppet show, music, theater shows, sculpting , painting etc.


They were also the creators of Dye, what is now extremly popular with bland looking fellas like the Male moths people, but it also make it hard to identify their gender. Male and Female look extremely similar, the only way to know which is which is their voice but even then some female talk more like males and males more like females... The only thing i managed to pinpoint was that sometimes, male thinner tail feathers tends to be longer than females.



The species is known for their flashy colors and odd fashion, their odd body structure where their fingers are actually the darker ends of their wings, they are also able to fly which is one of the only race able to do so, moth people are the second.


As i said about urban life, it tends to corrupt people, children kidnapped and raised as con artist, assassin or worst. This phenomenon turned urban Faerals extremly protective of their children, and worst case scenario for the city , they simply leave the city often heading south to Durianossa or Bright feathers. We have lost great actors, singers and artist due to this kind of events, the most tragic were the trio known as the master puppeteers.


Serath , odd name for a female simply vanished out of thin air, Zekaro left the city and is now called the Shaman. Lastly Oreil was murdered when she made a puppet show up north mocking the tyrant leader Maldesse in front of the oppressed Salva'oreks who cheered her up. But that kind of attention dragged the Golden tears soldier into it who killed her in horrific way i assume for mocking their leader.


For their heights, both genders reaches human heights, meaning some are 4, 5 and 6 feet tall, they feast on fruits and seeds only , meat makes them vomit immediately. They are not known for brute strength and only a few tried to join the army as soldiers, but their community was against it and they all deserted, Faerals are too afraid to fight , afraid they'll become just as bad as their identity thieves the Maestrals.


In here we see a... I think its a male... or maybe a female, The only way to know is to check their private area, but thats not a reliable source to identify a gender just by looking at them. This one carries around a bag containing a music instrument, bards is a common job for them anyway. Maestrals are colorful birds but they always add more with dye so it is impossible to tell if this is all natural and if not where is the added colors.



Hopefully this updated study will be good enough for the Dal Komorian Trademaster , dont want to finish on the streets because of it, but the Faerals are just not a race that allows us to interview them much , they fear i or the people will use their knownledge against them, Urbanization really turned them paranoid towards other race.


Speaking of that, I did notice they get along with all the race, even the annoying rats that stole my family pocket watch for clams... bloody bastards.

I wanted to create a new avian species, one where they have feather fingers, odd need but still, hopefully they seem interesting enough to people to want more.
