Metamor Keep - Writer's Guild
For my first submission of 2010, I'm going to post a story I wrote back in 1997! This is my very first Metamor Keep story, written when the Universe had just started. A lot was undefined back then, but even with this first tale, I had a lot figured out about my main character that I only hinted at.
While the story is available on the Metamor Keep Archive (http://metamorkeep.com/) I've done a little bit of editing to clean it up, and also, I've used LaTeX to turn it into a professional level PDF format.
Do enjoy the beginning of a long devotion for me!

Indeed hinted. The crack on the table when Charles hits it, and Channing comment regarding the fact Charles said he doesn't like violence ;)
However I'd say the crack on the table shouldn't have happened since he's always portrayed as pretty capable when managing the Sondeck. But then again it was early on the setting so things weren't ironed out.
Or he was too annoyed by Habbakuk insisting, heh
*After checking the archive* My bad, that was on your second story :P

*chuckles* Yes, that was my second story. But there is a good reason for Charles cracking the table. Since he had kept his Sondecki bottled up for so long, the rat was losing control over it. It bristled at the edges and he couldn't keep it from sometimes emerging. Basically, he's turning himself into Garigan before Garigan was trained.

Ah, Liturgy of Blood, now there's a classic! A ton of later plotlines got their start in Liturgy. Definitely one of my most important stories. Here's hoping you enjoy the wonderful adventure that is Metamor Keep. It's grown so much over the years, I look back in astonishment at what's happened!
And there's lots of other folks who've written great MK stuff too that I know you'll enjoy reading.
