Bringing back the old shade dolls but i'm naming their land 'The Tenebrous Isles' because i'm not creative in the slightest. The Isles are nearly always shrouded in a foggy darkness due to their slumbering creator. The fog is a physical manifestation of the creators nightmares, only going away for a couple days during its yearly awakening. Most citizens cannot be outside while the creator is awake, their eyes having been thoroughly accustomed to darkness and dim artificial light.

While it's a task usually handled by larger, stronger dolls, this doll helps in the upkeep of their creator. Usually seen butchering meat and gathering plants, this doll thoroughly enjoys their job. Outside of working, they enjoy reading books about other creators from across the lands. They hope that one day they can see every one of them in person.

As a note, creators are incredibly old beings with wildly different appearances (all of them are considered beautiful to your average doll). They were known to create strong, nearly undying dolls in their prime. Most have gotten sick, shut down, or gone mad with time. Most of what they create at this point are horrible amalgams with nearly no resemblance to your average doll. They consider their works to be perfect, and perhaps they are.
