I've seen a lot of people say Trace and Flora are uninteresting characters.
And if I'm to be quite honest, I have to agree with them somewhat. There hasn't been a whole lot of development with those two, they've basically been shoved into a corner so characters like Keith and Natani can grow.
Well, I'm one of those people who hold the opinion that there's a lot of potential for these two, and I really liked the sketch where Flora comforts Trace after he has a nightmare. Wanted to create a cute short story which is just a much needed character moment between those two, nothing more.
And here it is.
(Just under five thousand words in length)
I would as always highly appreciate comments and critique.

I do feel like Tom probably cares, the problem is that he never gave them sufficient backstory or character development. Their relationship can be summed up to "Anime protagonist and his cute fluffy girlfriend".
Though we might get some more development for Trace soon, with the dark secrets lurking in the estate. I'm hoping for the best, because I feel like he has potential to be a good character.

Sadly I don't have much more planned for Trace and Flora. I don't feel like there's a whole lot more to write about concerning these two until the comic moves forward a bit. (And knowing Tom's update schedule, that could take years)
And you're right, there is very little fanfiction of Trace and Flora. I suppose most people don't see the potential, and I can't really blame them; The characters are a bit flat, in Flora's case literally. You'd need to do some decent writing footwork to make them more appealing.
But I guess that's my job.

I love Natani and Keith so much (despite the poor handling of Natani’s gender identity cough cough any time Tom draws the trans male character in sexy girl pinups cough cough) and love the development of their relationship, but shit now that I think about it the two main protagonists are kinda sitting backseat to everything and it’s a shame because I love Flora and Trace’s relationship just as much. Seeing stuff for them is kinda rare, especially intimate love stuff. Fuckin bless you you absolute champion👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Glad to hear you like Natani and Keith, because I'm working on something starring those two right now.
As for Flora and Trace, there's room for a lot of interesting writing concerning their baby, Flora's past as a slave, and Trace's complicated backstory. Hoping to see Tom at least do something with these things, but looking at the sluggish upload schedule, I'm not too hopeful.
