This is the second attempt at designing a cartoony, but realistic seaplane for a Tailspin-sort of Pacific Islands adventure story. I had some of the characters thought out, and imagined an Indiana Jones & the Eye of the Idol kind of plot. But after this much, my attention wandered elsewhere.
The captain of the ship was a tough mouse girl in a leather flight jacket and eye-patch. Her crew were motley, as is mandatory in these affairs. One had been transformed outright into a four-legged sort of animal. The captain is distantly related to Circe, but has no control of the power, you see. You don't see? Neither do I after all this time. Maybe that's one reason I dropped the notion.

Tough Mousie Chicks! Yay!
Sounds like a damned nice concept...Hell Tail Spin was a too cool concept...Why no one ever published a game of it...O' wait Crimson Skies!!! (But no tough Mousie Chicks...*Pout!*...)...
Hmmn...Just outta curiosity do you have any work-ups of the idea/stories?

Would you allow a repost of this sketch and the interior sketch for the Spontoon Island website? (You allowed a previous sketch of the exterior, but I think it is a different version.) A re-post would end up in either the "Aircraft" or "Visitors & Guests" sections, as you choose.
I'm as much a fan of background plans for settings as I am a fan of hard-line finished illustrations.
There would be credits and links, as usual, and I'd be happy to post any restriction reminders to other contributors (as they are sketches, and you had story plans for the aircraft and associated characters).
