Working from the anti-gravity craft in "Desert Sortie" I developed a more advanced variant. I've added vestigial wings to get further away from the wingless orignal model.

Any aircraft that relies on aerodynamics ought to be somewhat stable, but with modern computer controlled fly-by-wire designs even a brick can fly. Seriously... somebody at Lockheed said that, apparently. But since these are anti-gravity airframes, I don't suppose stabillity is a big problem. The wings added are mainly to hang ordinance from.
I believe that's why F-4's had wings *Smirk*...
O'course with the negative dihedral(sp?/use) of the main wing it should be able to dance on pin heads...'specially w/ anti grav...Tho' I'd bet a canard would help...
Also kinda looks like a b&w "Tigers of Terra" plane...(I've never actually gotten hold of one of those comics...SIGH!)...
Very cool design...
Now what's the story on the anti grav? Now I GOTTA go find your Dessert Sortie craft!

Vaughn Bode's "Silly Tech" - not very serious-looking, but what a lot of fun if we actually had it around, some of it anyhow.
I dunno about the anti-grav angle. Do you remember those old Dick Tracey comic strips that featured vehicles that used it to get around? They were shaped somewhat like a toilet paper tube with arms at each end. Not very aerodynamic, I imagine.
