Micky gets very tiny when she's depressed......
I hate the holiday period.
Half the time, its absolutely rotten to me.
The other half, I'm left totally alone and feeling wretched and unloved. And this is the better of the two.
So dont ask me why i always get depressed over the holidays. Just dont.
*Sigh*
Anyway. I drew this as a sort of outlet for my rotten feelings over the last few days.
The things on the shelf are supposed to be DVD cases, to show the scale of the image. Micky is tiny.

*hug* Well, at least it's over.. Unless the Holiday Period seems to linger a little around your household.
Other than that, the pic came out nice, the characteristic that "Micky Gets Smaller whens he's sad" further emphasizes that she's.. well.. Sad. The Expression is nice, again, emphasizing kinda.. Sadness, or, how it says in the tag, Anxiety. Awesome work here.

dunno why, but I find it cute >.> just the size, eh. i'm not one of them people who only care about the othes always being big.. anyway. you generally should feel good in yourself. personally, I don't think the holiday times are that different fom the rest of the year, so think if you can get through them, then you can get though this much smaller space of time. you've got lots of people who want to be with you, i'm quite sure of that. just need to find it in yourself to seek out spending the time with them. your bad feelings are relative to the environment you keep yurself in, change the circumstances, change the outcome..

I'm sorry that you have such awful holidays. It's something I've never had to deal with, so I ask for your forgiveness if I hurt you unknowingly.
The pic itself is very lovely, even though it pains me to see you sad. I noticed your shrunken size only after you mentioned the DVDS, though. The skinniness is very obvious, and you're not as tall, but I think a few other objects, such as a power outlet or table leg might have made your size more apparent.

If anything else I'm glad you have drawn something like this, nothing's going to change in one day...but what else can be done? Not much I can do 'cept pray.
And yes, you are huggable like this. I miss you big, but atleast this means many people online know of you, and many of those people care atleast in spirit.

Aww, if it means anything to you, I wish I could be there around the holidays to keep you company or something, but you live all the way in Australia. Someday, someone very lucky will find you and hopefully you won't have to feel like that around any more holidays.

I find Micky to be very cute at this small size, its the first picture i seen of micky small. Picture looks great but it has this sad feel to it.
I know you may not have any idea to who i am. But, I hope what ever is making you feel sad, goes away soon and you feel better and i offter a hug to you.

It's rather ironic how the holidays has a lot of bad feelings tied to them. I suppose people like to leave lasting impressions and that's the best way to do it. Bah! I could be mr. psychologist all day and it's not gonna help at all ^^;. However, I'm very glad you expressed that pain in a very constructive way... cuz frankly, suicides are higher during the holidays for the exact reasons you gave us.
