Most 'productive' night at work yet.
From the top, left to right:
- Some sort of feline naga, rearing up so high that his head didn't fit on the paper.
- A growly naowly. Still working on facial markings and also having fun with angry wrinklies.
- A happy naowly man, trying for a slightly more cartoony style on the head, still ending up looking mostly like my usual style.
- An actual animal naowly, done without any reference. I think I understand the joints of a cat's legs correctly. Now I just have to learn to draw them straightened out a bit more so my kitties aren't always crouching.
- A Naowliontaur. Taurs are always fun.
- Corner Cat! Yes, yet another sketch reproduction of my best ever painting. This pic is starting to become something of a signature for me. A couple more times and I should have it perfected and then it may just start showing up in the corner of any and every thing.
- Purrrity eyes, and spots all over without much thought for facial curvature. This sort of reminds me of a texture map for a 3D model or something. It's like a face stretched out all flat. Also got me thinking about developing a cheshire cat snowleopard character, maybe pink with purple spots and appears eyes first, then mouth, then spots, then actual body.
