Jim took his cup from the counter and headed for the corner booth. The wolfsune's trio of cyan-tipped tails lazily swished back and forth as he walked. His eyelids drooped halfway shut, closing off a good portion of his vision. It was too early in the morning for this. At least he finally had a cup of tea to start waking up with.
Already in the corner booth, Mae smiles at the wolfsune as he sits down. She was already wide awake, but still wore her eyelids half-closed. Unlike Jim, they were more suggestive in their position. "Good morning, sweetheart,~" Mae cooed with silky, purring voice.
"Morning," Jim flatly replied. He started sipping on the beverage. The sooner he got the caffeine in his system, the sooner he can wake up.
Mae laced her fingers fingers together, resting her elbows on the table, "How're you feeling today?~"
The wolfsune shrugged, "Didn't sleep well… I-" Jim was abruptly cut off. He paused and waited a second, ear twitching. "Huh," he finally continued. "Looks like it's gonna be another one of those mornings."
A grin grew on Mae's face. The large-chest kitsune knew what that meant. The tips of her eleven tails twitch in anticipation.
