These are the roughs for D. Dan for the comic I have been working on for a while.

It took a few tries to get a pissed look off of him since D. Dan is so happy and good-natured all the time. I am trying to get a look of what I like to call 'Controlled Chaos'. ^\/%.

Basically the 'Controlled Chaos' look goes well with D. Dan's rapier sword since the blade is made of a crystal that is at a constant 'Quadruple Point' in existence. In the 'Quadruple Point' of existence solid, liquid, gas and plasma exist at the same time. The crystal is like super heated lighting in solid form. In short, the blade cuts through objects with the heat hotter than the surface of the sun and the temperature of absolute zero. When not in use, the blade is simply the same temperature as steel, though it has a nice electrical and crystal like glow to it. LOL. ^\/^.

It is due to D. Dan's ability to use this sword and its solid to plasma state that the sword can bend and stretch as it can. It is like having a rapier, ivy blade, whip and projectile by shooting of bits and pieces like a rail gun blaster that can shoot off rapidly. The crystal can reform itself by simply acquiring local elements like air and water since the crystal has similar elements to air and water. ^\/^.

And that is why D. Dan's sword is called Epic Rapier. LOL. ^\/^.
