Yes, he is persistent. I've modeled him after what I think an honest and self-honest conservative would be: doggedly persistent in his attempt. You will notice he does not make up stories, he does not blackmail or extort his colleagues, nor does he threaten them. But he does fear change, and he will do whatever he can to impede it.

And......I was addicted to cold blood, and as another story that is in no doubt relate to it deeply, I am addicted again.
I couldn't calm myself, to eager for more even I just started with it.
And I need more.

The story has turned out somewhat complicate now. Dacien is not with Teodor, although it is happy to know that Chelm will be with Dacien...
I feel no luck with Teodor at now. I'm not even sure if that is good or bad, but the fact you left Dapple with two masters -Teodor and Dacien-, you scared me with that there will be a situation Dapple has to go to and stay under Dacien's control.
And it only give me a bad image of future that Teodor could not do much things....or anything.


By the way, Kanail seems enjoying with Dacien. Suppose I say something about it?

The universe does not accommodate itself to Xavien - nor does it accommodate itself to Teodor or to Dacien. Teodor, who is more willing to see what happens than Xavien, will have an easier time adapting. Yes, there are a number of logistical problems that Cresphontes has bestowed on Teodor and I'm sure Te will work them out.

The chapter number I did notice (and fix, in my master copy) - and originally, this was going to be Chapter One. I realized I needed a little prologue to introduce Nestor.

A question, it has been bothered me since I finished this chapter. But after I read over cold blood chapter 22, I just cannot ... well. I'm going to ask anyway.

It is not far from Dacien's transformation, I take it so if I did not misunderstand.
What has - or is- happening with Zebra?

Chelm gave Zebra to Dacien because Dacien is, was going to stay with Teodor...And now they are apart, too.
Weither Zebra will transfor to Teodor or not, I thought this time Teodor will only take one human with him for the travel.
And If I counted the time correctly, it is not long to the next time Zebra will need to ... exchange blood again.

I have thought a lot of things that may answer it, but I'd like to ask before I stuck again.

A hint, please.

Zebra is, at the moment, at House Grey. Zebra did not come to the council meeting, because he has no business there. He's fine; we'll see him in later chapters, Teodor isn't going to let him get sick, but he's not currently relevant to the plot

He'll show up again, but ... not until the action takes back to him

And please feel free to ask anything you like, I'm very happy to answer you. Unless it's something that would be a spoiler, I'll answer.
