This is a little suprise gift for
drangnel . I don't know him, but he inspired me by one of his similar pictures.
Here, the micro electric dragon is enjoying the electromagnetic breeze coming from the inductor, as well as a bit of heat it's producing. He's probably influencing the inductor's parameters as well as a side effect of his (so far harmless) trespass.
A word of warning for any micros tempted to tamper with and sabotage my stuff: You will be dealt with. Severely. (artwork material). Harmless residents are tolerated.
Broken Industries are mine.

Quite nice. I need to show this to my mate, who's much into electronics and PC hardware (and myself being green and stuff, though not of this size).
Touching any of those components while in use could be quite deadly (the capacitors even afterwards), though skimming through your other pics I doubt you'll have trouble with such thoughts.
Was there a specific reason for the color-coding of the resistors, especially the one on the right?

Drangnel, as far as I know, is an electric dragon. He enjoys getting hit by lightning (as it probably has a positive effect on him), so I doubt 400 volts would do him any harm.
About resistors. I didn't want to waste the effort on having them make sense, so I made them randomly, plus I used a bit of experience with color codes, so you won't find a color that would not exist on resistors. But I realize that resistors on the right doesn't make sense, as black stands for zero, so it isn't a proper color to start the code with. Oh well. So much for trying.
But honestly, how many creatures here know how a proper color code looks like ?

Well, the rest of your pic had a whole lot of details in it, so I was sure you actually opened up a power supply to get those details. I now see that your reference pic had similarly colored resistor as well (though 42 Ohm is also a bit unusual), but actually the color combination matched my "Colors of Germany"-trigger.
And if you tamper with tech details, you sure will get a lot of techies taking notice ;)
Though I *am* a bit suspicious whether I'd use a piece of equippment which says "Broken Technologies" on all parts *g*

I didn't open up any supply nor use any of the reference's color codes. Everything you see is a more or less imaginary mess of electronic parts I randomly took out of my drawers with stuff. Save a few modifications and avoiding an unwanted advertisement of a certain manufacturer.
I guess next time I'll take the time to take out and copy a few resistors as well.
And hey, it's just a name. The quality is unsurpassed.
