This is my cat Jynx. I grew up with him. I got him when I was very small, and he's been with me since then. He's gone missing a few times but always found his way home. Always kept me feeling safe, always came when I was upset.

A goofball at times and a sweetheart at others. He was more like a brother, a guardian, a friend, then a pet.

A few months ago he went missing, and we all figured he had gone off to die. He was so old and sorta sick...but I didn't wanna think about it, though I accepted it.

Today my father decided to tell me that they had found him last Monday. That he was left in a ditch because it rained for a few days, and that he was carelessly tossed out with the trash.

I'm devistated. I'm hurt, torn to peices, and just all around dead inside right now. Jynx was his name, and I'll never forget him. This is one of the few photos I have of him, one of his best. I'll miss him...I have...and always will. Nothing will fill his place in my heart. I don't want anything to.
