Anon asked: "Do prey musicians have to worry about crazed pred fans trying to eat them or is there an unspoken rule that musicians are off the menu?"
Not so much an unspoken rule as a practicality: successful musicians can afford to hire security to make sure they don't end up on the wrong side of some pred's fur. And even if that weren't the case, they'd be a high profile target, and it's possible that other crazy fans might come after you for eating them. Basically, they'd be the exact opposite of an ideal prey: constantly surrounded by others, capable of protecting themselves or purchasing protection, and immediately noticeable when they go missing. I imagine most musicians don't worry about it too much (though it's always a possibility! I could see some pred taking it as a challenge.)
This got me thinking, though, that pred musicians could totally be a thing. In my The Den setting, eating someone in public is technically not illegal, it's just considered uncouth (and potentially dangerous). I could easily see some star eating their fans in public, or even during a show, as a display of how edgy they are. If they were famous enough, they could probably get away with it!
Also, I hadn't intended to actually make a character out of this, but I'm already getting ideas for this guy.
Ask me questions on my Curious Cat! Feel free to ask questions to either me or one of my characters.
If you're so inclined, I'd much appreciate it if you'd buy me a coffee!

Ha! I do enjoy vore as part of a performance. I imagine his prey is ripe picked from the audience, and fans know it, but they still go even though they know it's dangerous.
If a musician's pulling enough crowds to afford security, then they're probably only vulnerable...to other musicians of similar fame. I could see an artist managing to gulp another, and taking the prey's hit songs as his own just to complete the power play.
Blast, now I really do want to see more of this concept/character. Fun stuff!

Yeah, I said in one of the other comments, it would be kind of a thrill, right? Like, even if he eats a fan at every show, the odds of your being the one he picks are pretty slim -- and yet, that danger would be there, every time you attended.
The "power play" aspect of one musician eating another is appealing, but I think that would contradict the rules of The Den a little bit. In that setting, eating someone is suppose to be for food only: maybe you can take whatever cash they happened to have on hand (because honestly how would you police that?) but doing something like using a prey's credit card after eating them is super illegal. Honestly, even eating someone as part of the show is toeing the line, but if they were famous they could probably get away with it (claiming that they really were hungry, that's just when they decided to eat!) So all their hit songs would probably just be owned by the label, or their estate, or however that would have worked in the event of natural death.
... unless there was some music label that set this kind of thing up intentionally, with a system where if any singer under the label eats another one, they get all the rights to their songs. Could foster some interesting rivalries!
Like I said in the original post, I wasn't actually planning on making this guy a recurring character, but now I'm kind of thinking I will.

They might just as easily think it's not real.
A-la "Don't worry, it's all smoke and mirrors, he didn't really eat a fan."
Of course, that could work both ways too.
A-la-
Fan in concert: "OMG! He just ate a fan right out of the audience! That is so edgy!"
Musician after the show: "Great show as always, babe." *hurks her back up* "Did you change shampoos?"
