I dont think Iv uploaded a pic of the new and improved Rail. I finally got the nerve to send him off to get his face done better. And for those who dont know.. his face is hand painted.
His original look you can see here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2417655/
I dont mind if you find this one creepy.. But if you dont like dolls, then dont look. I dont want or need to hear any rude remarks, thanks.

What one do you want? And that is true.. But if you think about it, most hobbies are expensive these days. Gaming is expensive, consols alone are usually around 300 or so bucks, then games are usually 59 dollars. Cars are expensive, making models are expensive.. My dad flies model airplanes, his cost him 400 dollars.
This guy: http://tinyurl.com/yb9ndgh
He's $145, not including shipping, face-up, hair and skin. He looks so much like a character of mine, though. You know the kind that may as well be one of your children? And he has such a nice face.
My uncle builds small model ships and those certainly cost him, and let's not forget the $100+ spent on my Prismas that are currently being neglected. Come to think of it, I should probably dig those out at some point...

He's 43cm, about.
And wow. x3 When I do get him, I'd appreciate it massively if you were willing to share. That'd be a huge help.
I think I'm actually closer to getting one of these two ladies: http://www.denverdoll.com/ashtondrakedelilah.php (at the bottom) They're affordable and cute, and I think I'd be willing to sacrifice my first doll being a boy just for the sake of actually having one. Do you think they'd be good for a first?

I was thinking that. In which case it would be the one I mentioned before. Even despite not having sexy elf ears, there's just something about him that really draws me to him. I mean there are certainly dolls that are more attractive and have less childish, rounded features, but for some reason it's just like I get the feeling that he's mine, he's just not on my shelf yet, lol.
On that one would you recommend me spending the extra ten dollars to get the face-up or would it be easier to do it myself? I'm in a bit of a financial pit at the moment, but I don't want to end up messing up on something and really regretting it later on.

Thats certainly good then. You would deffidently regret not getting him if you got the other one first. He is adorable, I wouldnt say he is unattractive. ^^ And everyone likes different looks and such. If he is the one calling, then he is deffidently the one to start with.
I tell every first doll owner to get the default face-up. You can always add, or change it later on once you are more comfortable and confident.
If you want more info on them, Id suggest looking up the Den of Angels forum. Thats where I hang out and post pictures, and oogle at other peoples dolls. It has alot of information also.
