Before the recent blizzard, my roommate parked his pickup down at the end of our long driveway, just in case we got snowed in (we did). After the blizzard, when he started to drive to work, I saw a little deer mouse running around underneath. I was afraid it was going to get run over, but it managed to escape without harm. It was none too pleased about its shelter suddenly driving off.

I'm surprised the photos came out; the glare from the sun on the snow made it nearly impossible to see the camera screen, my hands were numb from the bitter cold and I was using my #3 camera.
