Suprise gift art for Heartwood, I used him as a guiena pig to test out a new dirrection I'm taking my art. Lately I've been in an art nouveau kick and decided to try and take that art style and make it my own and evantually modernize it somehow. I'm also for now keeping with the flat, bright, high contrast color from both the "Coop" and "blacklight" pieces. The art nouveau particularly works well with that silk-screen poster look. And in addition to it's appearance on the surface, I'm using a sort of bouncing whip-lash design to the composition of the piece, the action line of this drawing curves and bounces across the piece diagonally to create a lot of movement.

The image was fitted to be a possible wine label, but can be made small enough for a badge, or large enough for a poster.
