The throne itself cut a modest figure, devoid of any decorations or flourishes that was befitting a king. Part of it was smashed into with cracks spreading out from the epicenter like lightning across a black sky. Ryshard gently placed a paw on the throne, his red eyes despondent as if he was lost in a memory. The great stained glass window loomed over him with immense presence and seemed to dominate the room with a cold, unfeeling glance. Yet, one could not deny the similarities between the two.
"This was mine... once," he hoarsely croaked, placing his hat on the seat of the throne, "I used to rule the world."
