Let’s just say that for a prisoner of war captured by a Norse/Germanic raider like Magnhildr meant being either being sold into slavery, ritualistically sacrificed to the gods or both. Cruel in victory indeed.
Yeah for this updated reference, her pose is based off an ancient helmet found in Sweden that depicts a wolf-skinned berserker such as Magnhildr:

Magnhildr is more at home in the forests of Scandza but she occasionally travels by boat. She isn’t a Viking though.
