Hey Everyone,

I wanted to share something that happened today. It wasn't planned, I didn't see it coming, and it took me completely by surprise in the best way.

When I moved to WA and got a new job outside of the art industry, I told myself I was going to start creating for myself and see what happened.

Today, while randomly cleaning up my gallery on ArtStation after posting up some recent work, I went and checked the "WebPage" view. This was what I saw.

I burst into immediate, happy tears. A wall of color, of beautiful art that had come out of me. I could see "MY" style. It's in my lines, its in the deep saturation of the tones I choose, it's in the content.

While we are on the path to becoming who we want to be, and we push towards our goals, we often times forget to look back at the groundwork that has paved the way. We might forget to see the progress as we pass each new trial on the trail.
Be kind to yourselves, you are ALWAYS growing. Someday you're going to turn around and be so much farther than you know. <3
